  I stay at JFK at the Hilton Garden Inn or Hilton JFK at least twice a quarter for work.  Sometimes I want my chinese fix without having to travel into the city to Chinatown.  I've seen these hole in the walls come and go and I'm not too particular in ordering from a spot unless it has multiple positive reviews.  I was hungry so I asked the front desk (Garden Inn) for any recommendations for chinese delivery....He gave me this menu....here's how it went down:
  
  Like I said I usually won't patronize a place with so few reviews so I decided to go basic....if a chinese place can't get rice and chicken wings right then they shouldn't be in business.  I ordered a small pork fried rice with two egg rolls and four chicken wings.  I don't like frozen peas and carrots in my rice so I told them to drop them...and add bean sprouts if they didn't already.   I asked if they had beer since the lobby bar had already closed (after 11pm). They had Heineken !!!!! For $2.95 I got two.  It took about 30mins for delivery and I got to say the food was hot and fresh...the rice was jasmine not yellow, the rolls were smaller than regular egg rolls but tasty... and the chicken wings were good....only complaint was the chicken wings were some of the smallest wings I've ever eaten in my life. Other than that I would order from here again. I will try something else next time and hope for the best.....I'll let you know what happens....Four stars since I didn't get any of the entrees .... but great effort having the beer available, helped bring the edge off a long day.

  I ate it. Well some of it, out of sheer desperation. It was greasy...bag had oil spots greasy. I had to pick thru my shrimp cause I could see thru the sauce than some of them had not been deveined. My "vegetable spring rolls" were deep friend rolls of brown mush that I broke open and threw in the trash immediately. Portion sizes were average. The only reason they get 2 stars is cause the food was hot, prices were decent and delivery was free, but I wouldn't order again.

  Number of visits: About ten times.
  
  Working in Jamaica, Queens today. Around where I work, the closest place - and one of the only places - to eat is China Inn Express. They're about average. Sometimes below average. Nothing special.
  
  I've eaten with them three out of the last three days. A couple of times before that. They've been a reliable place for lunch. But the wonton soup is average. The egg drop soup is below average (bland). The egg and shrimp rolls are undersized, and the shrimp roll came with three TINY shrimps in them.
  
  Yesterday, I had the lunch special boneless spare ribs with pork fried rice. It comes with a free can of soda. The portion of the ribs was generous, but I've had better. Theirs wasn't saucy enough. You know: that delicious red sauce that you'd like to mix in with the rice. I had none of that. The rice was also average, and my gut told me that it wasn't on-the-spot fresh. Or it was overcooked.
  
  But for the price I can't complain.
  
  I've eaten in during all my visits there. Cleanliness is average. Customer service is N/A. The employees are approachable. Nothing to write a lot about. They've been keeping the door open on cool days though, so eating there has sometimes been a little uncomfortable. Points off for lack of customer satisfaction.
  
  Ultimately, I would give them two and a half stars out of five. Obviously, I've had better. But will I return? I will in eleven minutes... I have little choice and I'm hungry.

  Stayed at Hilton JFK Airport hotel and there weren't any restaurants nearby so the front desk host gave me a takeaway menu from this restaurant. Prices were good and had many options, with free delivery. I ordered the szechuan chicken combo that came with pork fried rice and an egg roll and also ordered "fried" pork dumplings. Delivery was quick --it came in less than 15 minutes. Food was okay. Probably would order again if I was starving and didn't want to pay hotel prices but honestly not the best NYC takeout if that's what you're expecting.

  Party of 4 @ 2:30pm
  We are on vacation and staying at the Fairfield Inn just a half block from the China Inn Express.
  We walked over to the restaurant and we were greeted immediately and offered a menu from the very nice woman across the counter. She let us know that we could order when we were ready.
  
  My husband ordered sweet and sour chicken which comes with steamed rice.
  My aunt and uncle ordered vegetable lo mein to share.
  I did not see tofu on the menu so I asked if it was available. The nice woman said, "Oh sure." I ordered General Tso's tofu and asked that the tofu be cooked crispy. She said, "No problem." The tofu came with five pieces of fresh, steamed broccoli and a bowl of steamed rice.
  
  The food was tasty, hot, and there was plenty of it. Chopsticks are available as well as drinks in bottle and cans for purchase: tea, water, soda. $1.50
  
  Four stars because of the sauces which come in plastic bags instead of in a container and the food is served on/in styrofoam plates and bowls. The ambiance could use some updating.
